What are the pickup and delivery times?

The pickup time for the van is 3:00 p.m.
The time to return the van is at 12:00 p.m.
We offer flexibility with these schedules whenever possible and upon prior request

Where is the pickup and drop off location of the van?

The van is picked up and returned in the capital, San Sebastián de La Gomera, specifically in the motorhome parking lot of the Visitor Center.

If you arrive on the island by plane, La Gomera airport is about 45 minutes from San Sebastián by bus. The bus schedule coincides with the arrival of the plane at the airport and the departure of the flights, so the bus will be waiting for you at the departure and will take you to the bus station in San Sebastián. The bus fare is 4€.

If you arrive to the island by boat, the port is located in the same municipality as the pickup location for the van, so you wouldn't have to make any extra trips to pick it up. To the best of our ability and to make it easier for you to transport your luggage, we will pick you up at the port or bus station in San Sebastián.

The return or delivery of the van at the airport has a supplement of 60€, and a prior request will have to be made to confirm this possibility.

Is it necessary to deposit a deposit?

Yes, the deposit is deposited when the vehicle is collected: 400€

The deposit will be returned once the reservation is completed after the vehicle has been examined and verified that it is in perfect condition. In the event of damage due to misuse, the company will dictate the amount that the customer must pay, justifying the company's invoice for the arrangement. This amount will be deducted from the deposit, and the customer accepts payment of the difference if the cost of the damage exceeds the value of the deposit.

What to do in the event of a breakdown?

Our vehicles are carefully maintained to ensure that they are always in perfect condition and ready to take them on their next trip, however, we must bear in mind that we are renting a camper. Certain breakdowns can arise that are unpredictable and inevitable both in the vehicle itself and at the level of the camper. We have a network of trained professionals willing to promptly and effectively address any unexpected setback. In the event of a breakdown that makes it impossible to continue the trip (and is not for the customer), customers can choose between these options: The proportional part of the amount corresponding to the nights not enjoyed will be returned, or an attempt will be made to obtain another van from our company or another company or, failing that, an apartment. In the event of a fault in the camping system that makes it possible to continue the trip but that causes inconvenience (failure of the water pump, kitchen, solar panels, etc.), the damage will be evaluated with the customers and compensation will be agreed. In the event of a breakdown of the van prior to the rental, which makes it impossible to start the trip and if there is no other van available for replacement, the full amount paid by the customers will be refunded.

We ask for understanding and patience during these situations. However, if for some reason they cannot accept the possibility of occasional problems, we recommend that they consider other options in the market. Transparency and honesty are fundamental to us, and we want them to have the best possible experience, even if that means suggesting that they look for another type of accommodation.

What type of insurance does the van have?

Our vans are registered as driverless rental vehicles and have corresponding professional insurance. It is because of them that they are 100% legal.

Rental rates include mandatory vehicle insurance coverage:
I.- Compulsory civil liability.
II.- Travel assistance.
III.- Accident insurance for the driver of the vehicle.
IV.- Window breakage

The following damages will be at the customer's expense:
I.- Damage caused to the occupants of the vehicle.
II.- Damage caused to the vehicle due to its misuse.

The customer must immediately inform the company in detail of any incident, and the company is responsible for giving the report to the insurance company.

If third parties are involved, their data must be requested and must be immediately communicated to the company. The customer is obliged to cooperate with the company and the insurance company in all subsequent investigations or legal proceedings.

In the event of an incident, and whenever reasonably possible, the customer will not abandon the vehicle without taking appropriate measures to protect and safeguard it, complying with traffic regulations, such as the vest and triangles.

Where should the water be refilled or the dirty water emptied?

To empty dirty water, you must go to authorized service areas for these purposes. Before cleaning the dishes, food waste and traces of oil must be removed, so as not to clog the drain or produce bad odors. The soaps we provide for washing dishes are environmentally friendly in order to contribute to the least pollution of our waters.

On the island there are several points to recharge clean water tanks free of charge, we will provide you with the location. We recommend making responsible use of water, thus benefiting both the environment and the durability of your tanks.

The van is delivered with the water tanks full and the dirty water empty, it is appreciated that it is returned in the same condition.

Do the vans have a bathroom?

The Mulagua van has a bathroom and an indoor shower. We recommend that the bathroom be used as a dry bath with organic bags that we will provide to our customers. If it is used as a wet bathroom, the customer will be responsible for emptying it before delivery to the places authorized for this purpose. Assuming that the toilet is not emptied, a penalty of 50€.

The rest of the vans have an emergency foldable portable toilet, with organic bags.

We firmly believe in the need to preserve the island from chemical waste, which is why we do not provide chemical toilets to our customers.

Where can I spend the night?

The island does not have any place specifically equipped with services for this purpose, but there are a number of beautiful places where you are allowed to spend the night. Once the reservation is made, we will provide you with our favorite places on the island where you can stay with the vans.

In addition, there is a super useful application, Park4night, which we recommend that you download before starting your trip.

What driver's license do I need?

The B, the same one you drive a car with.

What are the conditions for renting our vehicles?

You must have a minimum of 2 years of driving license B and be over 25 years old

Where can I leave my car during the trip?

In the same car park where we will meet for the delivery of the van, it is an ideal and safe place to leave your car parked during your stay on the island.

Is mileage limited?

No, there is no limit of kilometers, you can explore the island without worrying about that detail.

Can we travel with the van to other islands?

No, you are only allowed to travel with her around the island of La Gomera.

What type of fuel do vans use?

All our vans use DIESEL gasoline.

The vehicle is delivered with a full tank of fuel, and the customer undertakes to return the tank equally full. The fuel consumed by the vehicle during the rental period is at the customer's expense.

If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank, the customer will pay the price of the fuel needed for its replacement as well as a penalty of 20€ as compensation for the costs of refueling.

Can I leave luggage that I'm not going to use during the booking?

Yes, we offer a free storage service, for that extra luggage that you don't want to take with you during your van trip, to make your stay more comfortable. We are not responsible for the objects contained in such baggage, thankfully that this luggage is delivered with a secret code or padlock.

Do the vans have a shower with hot water?

The Mulagua van has an indoor shower with hot water and the Agana van has an outdoor shower with hot water.

The rest of the vans have an outdoor shower without hot water.

Does the van have sheets and towels?

All of our vans are delivered with sheets, duvets, pillows and towels for all occupants of the van.

Can electronic devices be recharged?

All our vans are equipped with chargers for electronic devices with a cigarette lighter plug and USB charger.

How much electric range does the van have?

All our vans have solar panels and a secondary battery with a battery life of 2 days, which may vary depending on the weather and can last up to 5 days if the days are sunny. The secondary battery provides power to the refrigerator, interior lights, 12V outlets and the hot water boiler (Mulagua and Agana van).

What if I have to cancel my reservation?

Customers can cancel up to 5 days before arrival for a full refund.

If the reservation is canceled after 5 days, the customer will be charged 50% of the canceled reservation.

What's the difference between an overnight stay and a camping trip?

It is allowed to park as long as the vehicle is properly parked without exceeding the road markings limiting the parking area, nor the temporary limitation of the parking area, if any, and the fact that its occupants are inside it is not relevant, so a van is no exception. Camping is considered to take one or more chairs, or a table outside, extend awnings or open the foot to enter the motorhome, open skylights or windows whenever they exceed the perimeter of the vehicle, as well as pouring any type of fluid outside.

Can I cook inside the van?

All our vans have a kitchen, kitchenware, coffee maker... to be able to cook comfortably inside them.

Can I travel with children?

Yes, they can and must! You can bring your own chair or we can rent one for you, see the list of extra accessories.

Do you accept animals?

Yes, you let us know and we prepare everything so that your pet is comfortable and enjoys the trip. This service has an extra cost of 20€ for cleaning.

Are there user tutorials for campers?

Yes, we have tutorials for all our vans that we will provide you with via whats app or Line once you have made the reservation.
